When I watched Bob Ross do his island in the center of the Painting, I looked for a Photograph of a mountain setting with an Island featured in the center.
After finding a photograph of a lake in Jasper, I decided to use the same technique, but change the composition quite a bit.
The reason I changed the composition was to see if I could do a photograph in the style of Bob Ross, and using techniques found in this episode that I loved.

Thank you both so much for your kind words :) This is my personal favorite painting of mine. Even though this was only my 4th painting ever, I feel I'm really getting the hang of the techniques that Bob Ross is such a pro at.
