In this painting I was missing a group of impressive distant mountains haha, but I always like a pinkish blue sky. I was not so brave this time and kept the foreground evergreens smaller then Bob did, on canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
After many paintings I am still wondering how Bob gets the distant trees on the canvas with the fanbrush and the vertical strokes, maybe it is because I mostly paint with a flat lying canvas and not using an easel, but I did a serious try again in this painting but had to choose very soon an other softer and smaller brush for it.
Thank you so much mr/mrs Coldethel!
Hey jos looks really Good . I also paint mostly without an easel, 😎👍🏼

Well done Jos, next time you do some mountains again :)
Thanks so much Dirk (also easelless) Matt (indeed a nice scene) and Tom (you're right, waiting for another inspirational one from your side haha)!
