One of my very favourites and definitely the one that will hang in a prime spot in the living room! It is a tough one, really is, or else … I might've been a little too tired to start this one early in the morning. Anyway, the canvas was a 16" x 20", double primed. I never got the wood colour right but after three attempts, I decided to use the one closest to my goal. The mountains are about perfect, I think I finally got the hang of it how to correctly slide the pallet knife over the canvas, YIPPEE!! The evergreens were a challenge since the paint hardly stuck, even with paint thinner. As for my bushes, half of it is okay, the other half is …. mud! Pity, but in all, quite happy with the result, no worries.
Love the snow breaks/shadows on the mountains!
Thank you Doctor, for you great comment. The painting itself is not amongst my best of work yet it is true that those are about the best I ever painted!7
This creation hangs outside my front door (street view) for all those passing by to be viewed and hopefully admired.

Over a month without comments …. guess this was indeed a poor painting after all. And I fully disagree!! Best mountains I ever painted!!!
