My seventh painting Bob Ross style since I started oil painting on canvas just two weeks ago. I had prepared a black canvas and started early morning for a painting that went remarkable well and was finished in some three hours time. I really really took my time here since I wanted my folks at home something to gaze at.
Well, the result isn't that bad but the colouring will be more accentuated when the paint has dried for a longer while. The overall blending was somewhat too blurry and I lost accent colours along the way, yet perhaps I thus created a different dimension. I can live with that! The easiest to do was the fellow which I believed I painted faster then Bob did! The hardest was the water, had to start three times over and still I'm not very happy with it.
In all, definitely a painting that everybody should take on once since it really is fun to do and will stand out.
