My 400th creation today! Of which 201 Bob Ross recreations. I intend to do 500 or more paintings/creations yet don't have the least of interest to paint all of Bob's work since specially the earlier seasons are of less interest to me. It's not a sworn promise though!
This is really a fun, easy and fast painting to do. I had 70 minutes of fun, very relaxing and was overall pleased with the result.
Canvas used was a budget 12"x16". Easiest parts were the skies, the snow banks, the big tree and the bushes. Tougher part was the cabin and specially how to control the amount of paint thinner on the scriptliner brush. Too much and it wil ruin/disturb your creation!
Have fun!
Love the colors of this one. And that big tree really looks great. Well done.
Thanks Sunnylday!
I rarely use a fan brush for a tree trunk but here I did AND with success!
As soon as I had the right portion pof paint thinner mixed (meaning it woudln't react with the liquid clear), there was no way stopping me from making crazy branches and twigs!!
Well Guna, this time I did more knife work then usual on my cabins, and it did turn out right! Thanks for visiting and appreciating!
Yes Umagaan, Bob limited his colours here and that's why this creation was on my lits. I like to do all hazy ones and this was part of it.
It was a true adventure to minimize the colours yet diverse them enough to stand out. I'm happy I was successful with it!
Congratulations on 400 Voy! Salud! Looking forward to seeing your next 400.
Great foreground tree!
Very lovely!
