I like these kind of winter scenes as they give me an opportunity to mess around with "chromatic white." I also tried to make this a little mistier than the original, but other than that there wasn't much going on here; it's a pretty quiet composition.
EDIT: Also, I think there's an issue of scale. Maybe that is a doghouse, lol.
