This is the 1st stretched canvas (20”x16”) that I’ve painted. Also the largest.I wasn’t happy with the finished painting so I added the rock in the frozen pond, the weeds and made the tree canopy denser. I struggled with lapping the snow over the ponds edge so I used my knife instead. The tree canopy was added to hide the “rainbow effect of the sky. Original version for reference is below.
