Evening at the Falls - s26e13
My version of Evening at the Falls. I am finding myself changing the composition a bit when painting my versions of Bob Ross paintings. This one was a bit difficult to capture in a photo as my camera really enhanced to fog/mist. It is not quite so pronounced in the actual painting. I ended up with way more area below the falls than I wanted, and I was just winging it in the foreground. I am not thrilled with this one, but as usual, it was a learning experience.
18" x 24" canvas. As always, your comments (especially suggestions) are desired and welcome.
I prefer this darker version and the rising mist is good. When you have foreground area left over its an opportunity to add another plain and get even greater depth. Its good to do your own thing.
I think it is gorgeous
