When painting my own things, I tends to take several sessions, the last few being mostly detailing and glazing. I know it's not in the alla prima spirit, but I do sometimes think about what it would be like to do a multi-session Bob Ross painting. This one strikes me as a good candidate as it has a quiet composition that would benefit from a few more sessions.

This is nice work Dracula! Very soft and pleasing to the eye. But I especially like what you have added in your commentary. Totally agree with that. Bob has certainly introduced painting to many of us in a way we can tackle in one session, but I also love the idea of extending the worktime out...whether out of necessity for the painting or just for the enjoyment of doing it. 👍
