Just finished this colorful autumn scene with some fat clouds, rocky type of mountains and a lot of trees and bushes in autumn colors, on canvaspanel of 30 x 24 cm.
I've seen Bob say that wet on wet doesn't work on canvas panels because they absorb the liquid white. Have the panels improved since then, or is there some trick to getting it to work?
Very beautiful work!
Great job
Yout trees are fabulous in this one. I love the openness of the branches on the tree on the right. Great job.
Thank you Dirk, Regan, Sandy, Cold and Helen.
Regan: I mostly use canvasboards -or panels and I am not the only one on this community! As long as the basic layer is good enough, I have no problems with soaking the lw, that's why I always add two or three layers of gesso before the lw goes on, to prevent it dries to quickly and it helps, is my experience!
Top work Jos and I agree with Helen✌️awesome trees.
Thanks for the info Joha.
Thank you Brian and you're welcome Regan!
