Level 1 - Day 2 of the Bob Ross Fundamentals week.
Again a simplified version of the original Bob Ross scene: we left out the cabin and simply put a row of bushes in the foreground.
Our teacher Doug told us that the book version of this painting is way less colourful than the version Bob painted on TV, and he made the more subdued version. And so did I. It actually is more difficult to get such subdued colours, for some reason.
I added a bit of pink and yellow to the snow on the mountains, which they loved, but I somehow forgot to put it in the water. Oh well...
I wish I had tried to blend the outer yellow circle of the sun a tad bit more. Oh well...
Learned a lot, especially when it comes to the "push-up" bushes.
I was finally getting the hang of those.
Beautiful work!
Very pretty
I like the subdued colors of this version, nice work TitiaβοΈ
