12"x16", BRI pre-stretched canvas. Third painting from the master set. I also purchased new Gamblin colors to match the line up used in this episode. This time I avoided cleaning the brushes in thinner as much as possible, using a paper towel to wipe them clean. Seems to have worked to keep the colors from getting muddy/runny prematurely. I'm still not happy with the way my brush bristles "bend" to give the impression of leaf clusters. I'd like to make that a focus point next, and get more clearly defined layers and separation in the foreground foliage.
