This is the Nic Hankins version of Towering peaks on a 14 x 18" canvas. I really messed up the water on this one and ended up having to redo it and go with a simple blue instead of the yellow and pink from the sky reflected into it. Fairly happy with how this one turned in the end. I really need to trust the process more. I end up getting frustrated when certain elements are not turning out the way on want, but usually in the end I am pleased witht the result overall.

The water reflections on this one are hard! Nice recovery.
The water came out great. I really like the sky and the sharp contrast between your underpainting and highlighting, especially on the mountains and foreground foliage. Very appealing!
