Hidden Lake

dracula 11 May 2024

I ended up taking a slightly different approach away from the indistinct purple mountains in the book. I don't normally like to deviate so far from Bob, intentionally. My natural style is different enough!

lovely Drac..great colors,textures n depth.cheers,P

I always enjoy your take on Bob's paintings. This in one of bob's compositions I'm not that keen on, until I've seen what you did with it! I like the softness of your mountain, not a straight knife mark in sight and your pink highlights add a soft glow.

I love that you changed the mountain, it definitely belongs in your painting. Super!

Good one!
I really like your style of painting. <3

love this

Your eye for color and technique are always on point!!! I love how soft the yellow orange foliage came out, hinting either of golden sunset beyond or fall leaves on the tree.
