My mom and I had another painting session together and she fancied doing this one.
Since it was still on my wishlist I had no problem to oblige and I also decided to paint it on a larger canvas. I'm glad I did as I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
We stayed very close to Bob's composition and I had fun using the fanbrush to get all the different effects.

wow I really like your version of this. I love the colors, the textures in the foreground, and your banks and water add so much dimension. The subtle shifts in all those mid/dark tones are so good!

At first my waterfall was a bit too white. So I added some of the background sky colour to the top and a bit of blue to falling down parts.
That sure helped tone the white down.
We also used Burnt Sienna for all the brown colours.
Bob never uses this colour as far as I know, but I've had it in my acrylics painting set for years and I like it for making warmer browns.
