The most difficult one of this season I kept for the last and I doubted till the end if I should do the bravery test with the two big trees, Shorty (I mean Bob, he tells in this video that his grown up son Steve calls him that way) always places big trees just in front of other ones, so in this case I would loose the view on the highlighted distant trees, I did the test and especially the dark red leaves came in front of the other trees, already I can't remember anymore how these were looking. Anyway, I hope you like it, on canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
Thank you Jeff, the water and the stones surprised me too. Some aspects of the water were the undergound color (vdb-sgr-prb) and Bob does after every fall a reflection (straight down and across), that helped, finally I did very careful with very few paint on the fanbrush some lucky strokes for the waterlines. The stones have a variation in brightness, that looks very natural, some catch some light, others not, but it was nothing more then a happy accident, because I overdid some highlights!
So darn good.
Just gorgeous! That water looks so real! Well done!
Great job on this, Jos!
Super Jos!

Super Arbeit,Nachbar ππΌπ©πͺπ³π±Great
Thank you all very much Tammy, Sandy, Jon, Brian, Yucel and Dirk!
Mmm the bravery test. I'm so chicken you can probably hear me clucking! You need to get colour distinction between the two sets of trees and avoid mud mixing at the same time don't you to make it work. I think you did well, you've made a very pretty painting, very soft and natural.
Thank you very much Helen, glad you like it, problem is that the other group of trees is almost covered, but in the meantime I can live with it.
This is just wonderful Jos!
HΓ© Tomy, thank you so much, where are your paintings the last period?
