I decided to try re-painting this after a year of painting and learning so much.
This Ross painting and video was my first attempt at oil painting a year ago. It has been a great experience and I’ve learned so much from watching others and painting a ton.

Beautiful scene! So well done!
Looks great. Everything is well defined. It pays off to watch, learn and practice, which is what I am doing right now. I painted this and my big fir tree is on too much of an angle. Thought I could maybe sneak another between that one and the big one on the right to offset it. Oh well. Very nice painting!
