A Mild Winter's Day - Joy Of Painting s17E6
This is one of the least painted BR paintings on this site with this being only the 9th version painted. Not sure why, it is a really fun one to paint. My mid foliage was put on way too dark so it affected my color choices for foliage the rest of the way. I also ended up with way too much land on the left side of the painting so I called an audible and added the cabin. I may have overdid it a bit with my patches of grass/stuff in the snow.
16" x 20" canvas. As always, your comments (especially suggestions) are desired and welcome.
Very nice version. It all looks nice
Well done!

Great job T. I love the big tree. Colors are great.
Super job on this, the cabin gives it a lot of life!
Awesome job and your sky is fabulous!
Nice job, Tony! Good call on the "audible"; I thought the cabin belonged right there. I also like the many grassy patches and the great attention to detail here.
Beautiful painting Tony, cheers
