Golden Glow of Morning

Ninoum 09 Feb 2024

What a great painting from Bob! I felt a little out my element painting it, but I learned lots. The way we use the liner brush to make the background, bushes and trees was super interesting. I was doubtful of my outcome but I kinda managed.

I wish my sky was more vibrant. I’ll let it dry and use transparent colors to go over certain sections. I should see more light in the right side of my pond, I’ll fix that too when I touch up my sky. Nonetheless, I had lots of fun with this one!

Gorgeous!

This one takes a few times to get comfortable with. The stuff Bob does with the liner brush in this one is wild.

Also! I kinda like the subdued sky because it makes your pond pop even more.

So beautiful!

I love when Bob did these experimental ones, I think you did a great job!

So pretty, excellent job.

Great version Nancy, today I put some paintings in the varnish, one of them was my version of this strange-linerbrush-work-painting. Your water shines, if you retouch the sky it will change that I think, but you will sleep about it some nights!

Gorgeous as always!! You are seriously my favorite artist!! Hope I can learn from you one day.

Great rendition of this painting! <3

Making this one also felt weird to me, with a lot of the work done with just the liner brush.
I love your version.

Super as always, Nancy . πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺHave a nice weekend

The layers in this one are so good. Your depth in your paintings are off the chart. If I learned one thing from you Nancy is how important depth is. Small or big so important.

You did a great job Nancy. One of my favorite elements of this painting is the watercolor like dark bushes. You really nailed that.

Your paintings never fail to impress!

Thank you ICM! πŸ˜ƒ It sure does take a minute to get use to that technique. Tho, I really dig it. It brings a totally different mood to the painting!

Thank you Sandy! 😊

I couldn't agree more Jessie! I always get excited when he gets us to do new things!

Thank you Cold! β˜€οΈ

Thank you Jos! I. was able to add a little more transparent vibrant colors last night. It actually worked very well.

Oh my! Thank you so much Elsie! πŸ₯° I am always here to help. We can do video chats in Messenger whenever you need. Just let me know and we'll make it happen!

Thank you very much Titia! 😊 I actually love your version a lot. I looked at it frequently when I was painting this one! The liner brush work is super different but awesome outcome. Another tool in the toolbox! πŸ˜‰

Thank you much my friend! πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ€—

Thank you very much Charles! I couldn't agree more! Depth is key is the painting doesn't look flat and boring!

Thank you bunches Tomi! 😊 Bob made his bg trees out of purple. I didn't do that. But I used a blueish purple to do the bushes in front of the tree line. In the book version, he had it on there. I loved the effect, so I went for it.

I really appreciate that. Thank you Hyper! πŸ˜ƒ

Great job!
