I really like this one! My daughter asked me if she could hang it in her room, so that felt good. Question for you all: I’m wondering what would happen if I tried to add some bushes. It’s completely dry at this point. The mud around my puddles feels too wide, especially compared to the pond at the bottom. I’m wondering if I can cover up some of the puddle edges so the dirt isn’t so sprawling. Also, thinking about adding a few bushes to the background as well. I’ll try to post a second picture with the spots circled. I haven’t ever tried adding to a painting after it’s dry so wondering if I might make a complete mess.
It is easy to do, but the best thing about painting on dry you can erase it any moment and return to version before, with just a cloth and bunch of linseed oil.
Maybe in your world a lot of deers and moose came to drink and they have drank all the water...
I really like the banks around the puddles as they are. Nice work!
It looks beautiful just as is!
Well done Mata.
Thank you all for your tips and kind words!
You did a fantastic job Mata! Beautiful! 🙌🏼
You have done a great job on this painting Lisa, well done. I've just had a look through your previous paintings and you are nailing this BR style. Great work. Cheers
Super nice painting overall! I especially like the puddles and rough edges around them.

Perfectly fine and easy to do. The only drawback is staying consistent with the color pallet from you original work. Just try to stay within the color pallet and you'll be fine.
