Seascape

dracula 08 Oct 2023

I'm not sure if the print quality for this painting was somehow compromised in my Series 1 book, but in the book, this composition is very stark and subtle compared to the TV version. I liked the way it looks, even if it were a printing mistake. I tried to lean into the quiet, muted colors a bit. It still turned out more colorful than the printed version.

Super sky , top painting !πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

Funny, I was just watching this video last night in prep to paint it this week! Fantastic work as always Dracula!

Awesome as always!

Such a loverly soft painting. <3

I have a couple of BR books, including 9 season books, but this painting is in none of them.
Whenever I see the video for this one I keep wondering how the background sea and the foreground connect exactly. In my mind this scene has you overlooking a tranquil sea, looking down from a not so high dune. But then where does that water in the foreground come from. Rain puddle? I'm never sure. LOL

Anyway, loving this painting. <3

Lovely work.

Absolutely love this sky!!

Love 100% more your version Drac!! Gorgeous!!!!!😍
