My version of ‚Ebony Sunset‘. This is my first Bob Ross recreation since two months. I wanted to make this different as I found this rather boring. So instead of only painting foliage (actually Bob was finished with the picture in 15 minutes) I put in two houses, one small on the far side of the lake and one big in the foreground. I also made the path leading to the house directly and I put in an additional fence.
I think this makes the painting more interesting. Good idea?
Also I did care more about light here in concentrating the lightest spot in the center of the picture.
I’m happy with the results.
BTW: this is one of the few episodes where I think the TV version is better than the book version.
