Serenity

Ninoum 05 May 2023

I am donating my 1st Serenity painting for a charity fund raise at work. The little boy of one of our members has leukemia. I thought I could help by selling tickets for a chance to win this recreation.

Because of that, I have decided to redo it for my personal collection. 😁 Doing it a 2nd time has shown me how much I have improved my technique. It was so much easier and fun than previously.

I have attached the picture of my 1st Serenity. I did an amazing job back then (last November). But I am really happy about this 2nd attempt.

Wow , what a Beauty, super painting my friend. Good depth effect, grandioseπŸ‘πŸΌ

Great painting, Ninoum. <3
Like Drik said, good depth effect. And great colours working well together, like always.
I also like how you used the purple from the background in the stream. It's always good to repeat a colour in another part of a painting, imho.

That's a great painting Nancy.

beautiful painting Nancy!!love the colors into the light.

Derp, sorry about the typo in your name there, @Dirk1968. :(
There is no way to edit a post here, is there?

Really exceptional Nancy! Hard to improve on perfection but you have accomplished it here! Gorgeous!

Super job Nancy!

Really nice, well done overall.

Very nice performance of a very difficult painting! The change from purple to green is done very well, I think..

Thank you my friend! πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ😊I was happy to see how much I have β€œgrown” with my painting skills. It came out much better than I was expecting.

Thank you Titia! I agree with you. It's bring everything together. I did deep forest lake earlier this week and change the sky colors for that very reason. There wasn't any crimson anywhere else in the painting and to me it didn't look right. A recall of a color is a must.

Thank you my friend Tomi! πŸ˜€

Mille grazie amico mio!

I appreciate that Sandy! I was wondering if I would be able to do as good as my 1st one. Once I compared the 2, I was really happy to see my improvements.

Thank you very much Matt! 😊

Thank you Tom! β˜€οΈ

I really appreciate that Jos! I struggled so much the 1st time. I had scraped off so many things and re did over and over back then. Yesterday was a total different scenario. I really experienced the joy of painting. πŸ˜ƒ

It is gorgeous!

Thank you so much Cold! 😊

Superior work N!

Awww! Thank you very much B! πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ƒ
