Tempera, paper
Season finale, time to assess intermediary results.
There are things that are particularly far from perfect (snow on the montains for one), but there are also things that are clearly getting better. Trees are definitely than they were in the beginning, so are the reflections. Even mpuntains - not there yet, but clearly a step up from, say, the second picture in the season.
Anyway, looking forward to season two.
I imagine tempera is very difficult to use for this technique. I'm impressed.
indicationofart, very much so - most (if not all) of the technics requires some modification. The only painting material that would be even harder to use with this style is probably watercolors. (I actually saw some watercolor pictures on this site and they were quite good).
I guess that's the greatness of Bob Ross' pictures - it provides so much fun practice material, so it doesnt really matter which media to use (well, except that the result is much farther from the original, but that's okay).
I have no knowledge for tempara paper. Is it done with paint or watercolor type? Regardless, this is looking really good! Love this compo!
