Super fun to paint. First time that I did a winter scene on a black canvas. I loved doing the sky!
I added some icicles to my cabin. My foreground left tree has a reflection on the dark side due to the light in my room. So it looks like it’s only made of a light color. 😕

Hallo mein Freund! Thank you much! I remember icicles from my motherland. As a kid, they were fascinating (and dangerous).I thought they would be a cute add on.
I really appreciate Bababara. The front door snow was made with a knife the same way we do snow in mountains. Here is a fun fact... I discovered this effect a little while back by accident when I did "Frosty Winter Morning". I was gonna use it in this painting as well when Bob pulled the knife to do just that! It made me smile! 😊
