My swamp challenge is done! ✅ 5 out of 5 of the swamp scenes are completed. This one is done on a big 22”x28”.
I added some titanium white to brighten up the bright spot. In the book, it really look like Bob added some. He didn’t in the video. So I took the liberty to make it more misty/foggy.
Great to paint! Love the colors and the swamp scene. Lots of fun gesso prep (see attached picture).

Just, WOW. Normally we think of swamps as being green. I would never have thought to use these colors but they work great! I love the Spanish moss. We don't have any of that up here in the north. Just need to add a few alligators!

Thank you Brian! I agree, Bob chose awesome colors for this one! Spanish moss is everywhere down here. I never saw it until I moved to FL 22 yrs ago. I am from Canada… def no Spanish mods there! 😅
