The sky in this painting is done by using mainly one color: (phthalo) blue and a little touch of white to create some depth. The clouds are painted by tapping and blending. A different technique for the mountains is used, one that makes highlights on the left site easier to do for righthanded people like me: just zigzagging. I like the dark color of the water in this painting because of the liquid black, I used a mix of linseed oil and midnight black. Finally the waterline is done by touching with the knife, not by cutting. I left some evergreens out to keep view on the mountain. On canvasboard 24 x 30 cm.
Thank you Brian!
