The ol’ “Evening at the Falls.” Amazing what you can do with only 4 colors (ok 5 if you count the tiny amount of cad yellow used for the tree highlights. Kind of a different type painting for Bob but it sure is effective.

Any more and I actually prefer limited palette paintings. I think if I use more than 7 colors, I’m putting too much energy into managing the palette than focusing on my painting.
