My expectation for a good result for this paining, in which it seems 'legal' to create Mudcity, was very low, because Bob overrules his own golden rule, that thin paint sticks on thick paint. The underlayer in this painting is very thin and makes it difficult to add highlights to it. Bob seems to succeed by blending the highlight color afterwards. Nicest part was the purple bush at the end. Just wanted to try this technique to have it in my toolbox, maybe I was inspired by our government, who wants to have other (unwanted) things in their toolbox. On canvasboard 24 x 30 cm.
Thank you so much Brian!

Jos I think that this looks very natural and is outstanding. Maybe just my preference but I really like it. Great job!
