I've never thought of myself as artistic. Likely some issue in middle school art class. But during the 80's I loved to watch Bob Ross paint. For me, The Joy of Painting, was the joy of the journey that Bob would take us on every week. Where are we going? Where is the painting going? How will it turn out? That was the part that drew me back every week. I always thought it would be fun to paint along, but kids and life kept me from it. Thirty years later, when The Joy of Painting was being posted to YouTube, I thought now is the chance to try it. So with a painting kit in hand I finally decided to give it a try. If I failed, no one would ever have to know. What I hadn't expected was how much fun it turned out to be. So fail or not, I kept on painting. What I post here is the results of my journey in painting. Thank You Bob!!!
