I'm a Research Scientist by trade with what I always thought was very little artistic talent. I've always been creative, but more in a rustic crafts sense.

After being introduced to Bob Ross's YouTube channel by my brother I became intrigued. My partner bought me a set of oil paints and brushes for Christmas for me to have a crack!

At time of writing this, I've done 4 paintings: S01E01, S14E01, S5E06 and S02E04. My paints are much thinner than the ones Bob uses, so we can call my paintings a little 'softer' than his. But I'm thoroughly enjoying it! I've been amazed at how easily happy little clouds and trees spring out my brush.
