Painted for my nephew he’s into H.D
Thank you - been posting pictures from latest paintings some of the he first ones got a little mud mixed. I wish I started painting 25 years ago Never realized how much I enjoy it.
Yeah, mud mixing is par for the course fraid, it can be easy to get disheartened sometimes but it's nice to hear your enjoying your new hobby.I started about four years ago after retiring and you never stop learning....remember! we don't have mistakes instead we have "happy accidents"
What a great start. Here's a little tip that everybody should try at least once. I paint a lot better when I'm distracted, talking to someone on the phone works wonders, just relaxed chit-chat with a good friend. Don't know how it works, it just does. It's possibly a relaxation thing. Perhaps applying some concentration on something else enables your creative side to flow more freely and any accidents are happy ones.
I thank you for the advice I do normally have TV on some show depending on the day. If I’m doing a Bob Ross copy I might have my iPad set up next to canvas. That way I can pause and catch up with my 2-4 or many hours from a 1/2 hr show LOL I’ve even stopped and come back next day if it’s gets to wet
