16”x20” oil on canvas. Sorry for anyone who keeps seeing this pop up. This is my third time posting this in 3 days because I keep changing it and don’t want the previous visible as there were things I didn’t like. I will probably keep tweaking it but this is the last time I will post it 😂

Thanks tel! My plan was to paint a more alien looking creature and I was just going to use my wife for the lighting and shade, but I decided to keep it looking like her just with abnormally larger eyes. They were even bigger before I decided to keep it as her 😆
What is she looking at Tom? To me I see a beaker on a table.
It’s a little blurry on here and now that you mention it i can see a beaker, but it is supposed to be a pyramid with and energy beam.

The light and shade are beautifully captured on the face, i particularly like the nose. There is no question you put a lot into getting this just right and you nailed it....great job!
