9”x12” oil on canvas. I painted this along with my previous painting of Ella in order to save paint and use it before what was on the pallet dried up. She is looking at me like “should we be concerned about what’s out there?” lol

Thanks Pam! I use reference photos for lighting and shading, but change some things and sometimes make them up. This one is pretty close to reference but I slightly changed some things like making Ella to be looking up at me instead of at camera. I will try to add reference photo here as an example of one where I stayed close.
