Thanks to both of you! Someone for sure will as you to paint a cat at some point flippergirlpaints. I was wondering if there was a technique for painting faces upside down…luckily this was a small canvas so it was easy to turn around as needed.
LOL. My old art teacher said the painting upside down exercise is to train your brain to paint what you see, not what you think you see. I still remember that 40 years later!

It turned out very nice indeed! I am a dog person as well, but I am sure one day I will be painting a cat for someone LOL. The position of the cat reminds me of when I was taking art classes as a youngster and we had to draw an image (usually a face) upside down :)
