A trevor grimshaw image of an industrial landscape . This is a subject i can relate too having spent all my life in Manchester....the industrial capital of England. These types of painting are uncomplicated but no less pleasurable to do.
NICE WORK T!LOVE THE SILLUETTE
Great scene!
Really nice painting! A real nostalgic feel to it!
Lovely monochrome scene tel! I think it also somehow intersects with your favorite Lawry's paintings in the mood.
Thanks for the kind words everybody, yes indeed Sunny... Lowry was from the north of England and painted his industrial surroundings as his favoured subject. As Rucifi points out the black and grey lend authenticity to what is a rather grim subject
Very cool - good distance created!
Thanks FGP
really good . .. love the contrast
Thankyou David
I like that very much . The Industrial Style looks like the „Ruhrgebiet in Germany „many many years ago .
Thanks Dirk

I like the black white and gray gives it a 1920s feel
