Great attempt Bob. You have a beautiful spot there. If you want a suggestion, take a landscape photo from the top pf 1 of those vehicles against the high fence to the right of the barn, looking straight up that valley with the peak in the centre of the photo, and then transpose 1 or 2 of your evergreens on each side and have a go at that - winter and late-spring/summer versions; and try painting that.
