So I ended up softening the tree and fence with zinc white. Then I tried to tone down the candy pink sky with fluffy clouds. I added some bushes around the fence. What do you think? Is this better than the original?
Yes, this has a better feel to it. Softer and more true. Nice job stepping back and being willing to adjust things.

Yes it is. The sky and the tree both look more realistic. I like what you did with the fence and bushes.
