20” x 16” oil on canvas. I go to this place 2x a year on Lake Vermillion. It’s my favorite place. I don’t know why someone failed to tie those boats properly. It’s a mystery.
Update: our fearless artist turned CRI (Nancy) gave me some pointers on the building. I attached that updated photo.
In the final photo I let the fire burn down quite a bit and the gigantic smoke plume went away. Must of had some wet wood at the start.
Hi Tomi! Good to see you and thank you.
Good one Bob
Amazing work!
Thanks Dave!
Thanks Dee!
Very nice scene!
Great job Bob, your fishermen have it made, a cabin and a beer by a roaring fire ✌️
Thanks Joha!
Thanks Brian!

Thanks Dirk!
A wonderful composition. I especially love the glow in the sky and in your cabin.
Thank you Kerri!
I really like the toned down fire Bob. This is really special and I would hang it as soon as it dried! I am guessing that It’s not a 1 hour painting. Super job ✌️
When I think of the skill it took to paint this, I can't express myself.
