Cattails

I liked painting the round drum heads earlier and I’m always trying to paint following the golden ratio. I have always loved the great wave painting and the two ideas came together when looking at the cattails behind my house. So, I’ve tried to follow Katsushika Hokusai’s great wave form here while painting a picture of the cattails behind my house.
