My grandmother loved Lilacs which was her favorites. My mom always brought her these flowers on her visits in springtime. She wanted a painting in her memory. We had lovely family picnics in this place in this time of age when I was a little girl. I feel very sentimental admiring my artwork and proud of it.

The term "chocolate box" will be familiar to the Brits on here. Chocolate boxes typically showed an image such as your beautiful painting in soft pastel colours, typical of a 50s design and often depicting a quaint country cottage or such
