In french I named it "les gamins de l'Ile". Gamin meaning boy kid.
Here are two simple Canadian kids having winter outdoor fun out on the St Laurence River in the region of Quebec, Canada. Reminds me of my own chidhood days of the past.
Haha Boys !....they wore their hair long in those days. Thanks always VoyKay for lovely comments cheers for new year....a ta sante !
Et al la votre!!
Happy New year, stay safe and inspired paintings!
PS: True ..... forgot to translate gamins properly! 😆
French is only my third language you know .... English only my fourth!
This is incredibly winterly and beautiful scene! A lot of fun and joy coming from it! A lot of fresh air and laughter and chirping of the birds. Awesomely done!
How nice!!
Excellent contribution to the Queenscourt Hospice event. Thank you.
Makes me feel like I’m in the painting sliding on the ice pond. Great work.
Hi - did you read my request to allow the Hospices to use your work all year round rather than just for Christmas cards as, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, they were unable to create the website in time? Can you let me know if you agree to the changes or I cannot use your work without your permission.
Many thanks - Colin
Hi Collin so sorry ! I have been busy. You have my permission :)
Collin you can use any of my paintings. It's an honor and glad to help. Good luck.
