Here is another variation on my usual theme. Like a recent work I uploaded, this too is patterned after an Alexander painting.
I incorporated some raw sienna in the white used to highlight the mountain, which added some warmth, and I added some red to the clouds, which I am usually too scared to do (they would always end up too pink!). I got crazy this time around.
Best wishes.
Really nice job! Love the steep mountains and the foliage is pretty!
The evergreens are outstanding!
very nice painting.Cheers.P
Really like this one!
Beautiful all around!
Sienna added a nice feel of setting sun, which also is enhanced by highlight of the green which is carefully located on the left side of the tree without overflowing it to the shadow side.

Foliage has a realistic touch. Bill's mountains always appear more ragged. This is very impressive.
