I’m having trouble determining where the light comes from. I think it’s the gray band above the yellow. Maybe go from yellow to red, then to darker? Anyway you asked. Hope this helps.

Your water does look good. Maybe blend your sky colours together a bit where they meet for example you can use yellow with red above it and where they touch blend them together and that will give you orange and there'll be no edges, just nicely blended colours from one to the other.
