Painted on a 20 x 16 canvas. This was a challenge to paint. It is from a photograph of the Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon at Yellowstone Park. I am not sure where the photo was taken either lookout point or artiste point. I made the rocks more colorful because the photo did not capture the colors that exist with the human eye. I added the foreground to give something there. I like how it turned out, but wish the rocks could have been better and maybe I should have added something in the midground to push everything else back. TThe rocks surronding the falls do actually have shades of yellows, oranges, and pinks.

Thank you I originally had more railings, but I did not get the perspective looking correct. I still think the railing looks a little flat.
