Had lots of fun with this one, my first ever contact paper / cutout painting!
The head-on shot like this doesn’t quite exhibit how well the metallic paint shines under light. I found that the best result came from using Gamblin iridescent silver on a liquid clear base coat.
Extremely clever! I love it!
Very cool and original idea! I'm now thinking something similar using Sierra Nevada brewing's labels would work quite well. They always have beautiful labels on their beers.
Awesome idea (Even though it is "Coors" LOL)!
Very cool idea.
Thanks everyone!
@lightsnow, that's a good idea, I've been looking around for more craft beer options to do this with, but the Coors was easily the most recognizable to do a sample with, ha! Uinta Brewing also has really fun landscapes on a lot of their cans (but in crazier colors), that might be another good future project!
@flippergirlpains, agreed even though Coors isn't my first choice, it was definitely the best design choice for a Bob Ross proof of concept haha
