Original Creation

Lost in Time

lightsnow 03 Oct 2021

Painting # 101. I had some extra paint left after painting my wolf outline painting so I decided to make this one. I had already prepped this canvas over a month ago. This was my attempt at a Legend of Zelda themed painting. I wanted to initially create a rendition of the A Link to the Past artwork with the light streaming through the woods onto the master sword. However, as I was painting this, I improvised having the master word be forgotten in the overgrowth, lost in time. This one was really fun and took me under an hour to create. Since I used liquid clear, and we know thinner reacts violently with clear, I used linseed oil to thin black paint to make the limbs and it flowed very nicely. 16x20.

Also astonishing! That spooky color scheme really works!

I love this so much! Very well done!

Really beautiful! Enjoyed playing Zelda myself as a kid. Very creative.
