Painting # 66. I had some phthalo green leftover on my palette after painting my oval seascape so I decided to get back to mountains and try speed painting. I painted as quickly as possible and was able to finish this painting within 30 minutes. Speed painting is something I'd like to continue practicing. It's very liberating to start painting on a blank canvas without having a video or picture reference and just letting the creativity flow. Usually, those are the most pleasant painting experiences. 12x24
Impressive, especially in that time frame!
Great job, very nice painting!
The aurora in phthalo green is very eye catching! I really like this scene.
Thank you, everyone. Phthalo green is a beautiful color. It's one of my favorites although I don't use it too often. I've added a touch of it to paint evergreens before but mostly, I only use it for waves and northern lights.

Stunning northern lights and mountain and speed you made it! Lovely size which fits perfectly the idea of the great snowy mountain!
