After seeing a lot of beautiful versions from my collegues and friends here, I wanted to do an attempt to get it on canvas too, not too difficult scene with b&w, pr.blue and ind.yellow in which Bill scratches most of the branches out of the paint, I had to be careful, because I did it on a piece of wallpaper from 40 x 30 cm.

Normally I would have commented on Monday, but I need to do it today for this one. You have done a lot of beautiful work, but this one tops it. It is a great work which you have done here. For sure the best interpretation of this beautiful episode I have seen. Everything is perfect, from the highlights to the misty background. Those tree shapes are superb. It puts my version to shame. I love yours, you should give it a special place on your wall!

The whole atmosphere is kinda spooky or, as DBerkey said, almost apocalyptic.
