Northern Lights above the Vecht (NL)

The last two years the Northern Lights are regulary seen in the Netherlands, I can't remember it was ever the case in the previous years, but a lot of beautiful photo's can be found on the social media, f.i. some of the lights above the river the Vecht from Sjoerd van der Wal (sjo.nl), the sky with a lot of colors contains some stars and should be the star in this painting, it took most of the time during this painting (total time about 2 hours), on canvasboard 30 x 24 cm.
